ABOUT DXH

Built by a coach who cares about development — not shortcuts.

DXH Academy was created to give players a structured, disciplined environment where development actually comes first. Not just running plays. Not just winning weekends. Real coaching that translates long-term.

About Owner / Coach Devon

My name is Devon Hicks. I’ve coached basketball at multiple levels, from 5th grade through 17U. Over more than six years of coaching, one thing has stayed consistent — players improve most when there’s structure, accountability, and a coach who genuinely cares and is willing to be honest with them.

DXH was built on that belief. I’m not interested in shortcuts, gimmicks, or running players through seasons without real development. I focus on fundamentals, decision-making, and key principles that prepare athletes for environments that demand more.

My role is simple: set the standard, coach with intent, and create an environment where players are pushed to grow — on the court and beyond it.
